Today, sadly, we lost Scamp. She was a sweet little puss who came to live with us six years ago at the age of 14. She came from our local branch of the Cats Protection where I do voluntary work. She was in the pensioners pen, the old cats that are hard to home. Louis will miss her as she lived with him in his room.
She had a good six years with us but finally succumbed this morning to kidney trouble at the age of twenty. Andy has buried her in the garden along with various other pets we have lost.
She will be sorely missed.
Jo xx

Sorry to hear about Scamp. I fear our aged cat (who looks very like Scamp!) may be joining Scamp in cat heaven soon. She's got very 'frail old lady-ish', used to be so frisky. Abby x

I`am so sorry to hear the sad news about Scamp-20 is a grand old age- giving an animal a kind and loving home where it is well cared for is the most you can do for an animal-sounds like she landed on her feet with you !
ReplyDeleteThat is sad news ... I feel for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteWe have a 15 year old cat who is my 'baby' and despite being quite grumpy with anyone else he has also become devoted to my daughter and vice versa. I dread the day we say goodbye to him.
