CHRISTMAS VINTAGE BAZAAR

The Vintage Bazaar will be held at the Cheese & Grain in Frome, Somerset, admission will be £1, open from 9am - 3pm.

I will be there with lots of lovely vintage and antique treasures.

Lucky Finds

I have had a lovely surprise this weekend.  Hubby and I were setting up for the general antiques fair we do at Uttoxeter race course on Friday when the organiser came over and said one of my customers was going to pop down to see me and that she had some bits and pieces for me!!  We promptly phoned her and arranged to see her.  This lovely lady always brings in the most fabulous things as she used to collect and deal in vintage and antique textiles but is now slowly parting with her collection.

The most stunning 20's flapper dress with jet beading and in virtually mint condition.  The feather boa and jet beads also came from her.

This is just a fraction of what she had brought for me, and the best thing is that no money changed hands, we just swapped for a couple of things on my stand.  This lovely lady made my day once more.  Hope you all had a good weekend.

New Pug on the Block

She is absolutely adorable, eating us out of house and home and settling in well with the others.

Vintage Christmas Boutique at Woburn

Last Thursday saw sellers from all over the country come together in the beautiful Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey for the Vintage Christmas Boutique organised so professionally by Ali of Betty and Violet.

The day was a spectacular success as everything was thought of down to the last detail.  The stands were a feast for the eyes and there was lots of temptation on offer.

I tried to take a selection of beautiful things including antique costume, antique wedding ephemera and antique Christmas decorations to name but a few.

I even had a rather lovely Edwardian lady watching over my stand.

Everyone wanted this beautiful urn, do you think they would have noticed if we had walked out with it?  You would need a low loader to transport it :)

It was lovely to meet fellow bloggers and meet lots of lovely new customers.  A big thank you to Ali and her lovely family for making the day such a success, and for all their hard work...here's looking forward to the next one...when Ali has recovered of course!

Vintage Jumble

I have been busy sorting in readiness for the fantastic Vintage Jumble organised by Michele and Jayne of V&H fame.  It is always a fabulous day out packed with lots of bargains.  As you can see from the pics I have lots to sell..............can't wait!  Bet I come back with loads too.
